About
I obtained a master’s degree in CS from Goethe University in Frankfurt where I occasionally teach as well. As you can observe, my passion is everything related to operative IT security, especially penetration testing. This way, I can contribute to harden security systems and make them more secure. What I love most about my field is that you have to be up-to-date continuously in order to keep the upper hand as the landscape is very dynamic. Additionally, it can be very challenging to find some flaws in security configurations. But as I learned the very first days of my studies:
"There is no perfect security"
So there is always a way into a system. This is motivating and frustrating at once. But it keeps me motivated to educate and challenge myself every day.
In my spare time, I like to do some of the following things:
- Read: Currently reading "The Art of Deception" from Kevin Mitnick (RIP)
- Cooking
- Museums
- Play GeoGuessr
